Hopey launched in the fall of 2019. The Sequel, counting hope, arrives Spring 2020.
Thank you to everyone who came out to our launch tour - stay tuned for upcoming events!
Chicago
October 3rd
7:00 PM: Barnes & Noble Vernon Hills [901 N Milwaukee Ave Suite #500 Vernon Hills, IL 60061]
Wow! Over 100 people in our neighborhood Barnes & Noble. Thank you for making it such a memorable event.
Question: What did your family think of the book?
Hope’s Answer: Certainly my mom and I have cleared many hurdles. She has been very supportive; we talk everyday. I’ve reconnected with my sister, that has been a huge gift. Of course not everyone has read it yet - I don’t need my youngest daughters seeing me through that lens just yet. I have the most loving, supportive husband in the world.
WOODSTOCK
October 6
1p-230p: Read Between the Lynes [111 E Van Buren St Woodstock IL 60098]
Question: What gave you the strength to write that story?
Hope’s Answer: I really don’t know. When I sat down to write, it just came out. It was a story that needed to be told. It validated so many other people’s stories too. The biggest compliment I have received on tour has been “Thank you for writing this book.”

BLOOMINGTON
OCTOBER 30TH
2pm - The Union Bookstore at Indiana University [900 E 7th Street - Bloomington]
It was powerful to talk with everyone who came up to our IU event: students, people from my childhood, people who I’ve worked with… This is one of my invaluable beta readers who helped shape the book into what it is.
November 1st
The Tap! Thank you to everyone who came by my old stomping grounds to get a copy of Hopey! It was the perfect end cap to our Indiana tour.
